Plan La Fête du Champagne NYC 2026, from Pol Roger magnums and Clos Saint-Hilaire to Grand Tasting highlights, gala details, pricing and tickets.

Magnums of Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill reaching back to 1995, nine vintages of Billecart-Salmon Clos Saint-Hilaire and more than 100 Champagnes at Pier Sixty make La Fête du Champagne the anchor of NYC wine events October 2026. The New York program runs October 14 to 17, with producer dinners, masterclasses and walkaround tastings across the city.
This is a limited offer and applies only to the Grand Tasting + Gala Dinner package. Other events are ticketed separately. La Fête du Champagne does not offer retroactive refunds. Availability and applicable fees are shown at checkout.
The four-day program visits Aquavit, DANIEL, Mitsuru, Nine Orchard, Sixty Three Clinton and Pier Sixty. It ends with a gala dinner where guests bring Champagne from their own cellars to share alongside wines from attending producers.
Co-founded by Daniel Johnnes and Peter Liem, La Fête lets you taste special bottles and meet the people who make them. Choose a dinner for depth, a masterclass for a focused technical subject, or a walkaround tasting when you want to compare producers at your own pace. All prices are before tax.

The strongest reason to book La Fête is the depth inside individual events. Several dinners explore one producer across older vintages, while masterclasses focus on Bouzy, Cumières and oak aging. If you want access to the makers, choose the formats where the named producers present the wines in person.

Champagne gives those conversations plenty of material. A non-vintage cuvée may blend several harvests; a single-vineyard wine focuses on one site. Bottle size, closures and time on lees can also affect how a wine develops. The program turns those subjects into tastings, so you can compare the wines while producers explain them.
A producer dinner is for depth: one estate, one theme, several flights and a kitchen building around the wines. A masterclass is more technical, often one hour, with a presenter and a defined question. A walkaround tasting lets you set your own sequence. The gala is the social cellar event, with provided Champagne and guests invited to bring bottles to share.
6:30pm ET · Aquavit, 65 E 55th St
Individual ticket: $1,800 + tax. Event details and tickets.

The opening dinner at Aquavit centers on Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill in magnum, with vintages reaching back to 1995. Bastien Collard de Billy will present the wines alongside a tasting menu from Chef Emma Bengtsson. Book this if mature Pol Roger in large format is your priority.
The four Edition Vinothèque wines are original disgorgements stored in the family’s private cellar, 33 meters underground. The 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2004 releases give guests a chance to taste producer-held wines alongside the other announced vintages, all in magnum.
6:30pm ET · DANIEL, 60 E 65th St
Individual ticket: $1,995 + tax. Event details and tickets.

At DANIEL, Alexandre Chartogne and Rodolphe Péters join chefs Daniel Boulud and Arnaud Lallement of the three-Michelin-starred l’Assiette Champenoise in Reims. Boulud and Lallement will collaborate on a menu designed around the wines and the dinner’s themes. Chartogne-Taillet brings wines from Merfy and the Massif de Saint-Thierry; Pierre Péters brings Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. The flights explore soils, bottle closures, formats, blending and aging on lees, the spent yeasts left after fermentation.
The dinner is exclusive to eligible American Express Platinum and Centurion members. Choose it if you want a detailed look at how vineyard and cellar decisions shape Champagne.

Friday begins at Mitsuru with the Marie-Courtin and Piollot lunch, now sold out with a waitlist. Dominique Moreau, Rose Piollot and Chef Nathan Fallowfield are named on the program. Both estates are based in Polisot in the Côte des Bar, where Kimmeridgian limestone and Pinot Noir often play a central role.
Join the waitlist if you want two Côte des Bar estates explored over a meal, with Dominique Moreau and Rose Piollot presenting several cuvées and vintages.

Antoine and Quentin Paillard present this sold-out Nine Orchard masterclass, moderated by Peter Liem. The subject is Bouzy, a Grand Cru village long associated with Pinot Noir, though the lineup includes both Blanc de Noirs and Blanc de Blancs.
La Goutte d’Or 2016 and the 2008 bottling from the family’s historic walled vineyard are the two exclusive cellar releases. Each comes from a single barrel and was made in a run of only a few hundred bottles, so the waitlist is most useful for guests who want a tightly focused Bouzy comparison.

Exact wines and vintages are subject to change. La Caravelle and Chartogne-Taillet have yet to confirm their wines.

Mathieu Roland-Billecart will present a vertical of Clos Saint-Hilaire with chef Sam Clonts’ cooking at Sixty Three Clinton. The dinner is sold out, with a waitlist available.
Clos Saint-Hilaire comes from a single parcel in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. It is made entirely from Pinot Noir vinified in oak casks and released in individually numbered bottles. Join the waitlist if nine vintages from one clos, one house and one grape variety are the comparison you most want to taste.

Individual ticket: $125 + tax. Event details and tickets.

Hugo Drappier and Peter Liem explore oak aging through four wines, comparing the effects of different wooden vessels. Choose this $125 masterclass if you want a precise tasting of foudre, demi-muid, oak vinification and oak egg aging, including a still Coteaux Champenois.

The Grand Tasting runs from noon to 3:00pm. More than 100 wines are announced, including Salon 2015, Cristal 2018, Krug 2013 and Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2016. Other bottles include Jacquesson Dizy Terres Rouges 2015, Vilmart Cœur de Cuvée 2017 and a dedicated Coteaux Champenois selection. This is the tasting for breadth: houses and growers in the same room, with direct producer presence and small plates rather than a seated menu.
Exact wines and vintages are subject to change. The New York Grand Tasting includes the following Champagne producers and cuvées:
Coteaux Champenois is the appellation for still wines from the Champagne region. Use this part of the Grand Tasting to compare white and red still wines from Champagne, then taste William Fèvre’s Chablis selection for Chardonnay from northern Burgundy.

The Gala Dinner closes the program at 6:30pm. Daniel Boulud, Arnaud Lallement, Fredrik Berselius and Helen Nguyen will collaborate on the menu. Chablis from Domaine William Fèvre will be served at reception, followed by Champagne from attending producers. Book this for the social close: guests are invited to bring their own Champagne to share, and that BYOB element applies to the gala, not to every dinner in the program.
For mature Champagne, consider the Pol Roger dinner and its magnums reaching back to 1995. For a single-vineyard comparison across years, the Billecart-Salmon dinner offers nine vintages of Clos Saint-Hilaire, though it is currently sold out with a waitlist.
The Chartogne-Taillet and Pierre Péters dinner suits guests interested in vineyard and cellar decisions. Its flights cover soils, closures, bottle formats, time on lees and blending. Check the American Express eligibility terms before booking.
If you want a lighter Friday evening, combine the Paillard waitlist possibility with the Apéro only if availability allows. The Paillard masterclass runs from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at 9 Orchard, and the Apéro follows in the same building from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
If you are building a Saturday around Pier Sixty, choose one of three approaches. For focused learning, attend Drappier, Soil to Sip, or both if eligible and available. For range, prioritize the Grand Tasting. For the social close to the weekend, the Gala Dinner is built around chefs, attending producers and shared bottles from guests’ own cellars.
Ticket prices range from $125 plus tax for masterclasses to $2,250 plus tax for the Billecart-Salmon Clos Saint-Hilaire Dinner. The Grand Tasting is listed at $475 plus tax, and the Gala Dinner at $1,350 plus tax.
Wine lists, vintages and ticket availability can change. Use the event pages in the schedule to confirm current availability, cardholder restrictions and terms before purchasing.

Build the weekend around the wines you most want to understand, then leave time to meet the people behind them. A focused dinner, a broad afternoon tasting and a bottle shared at the gala offer different pleasures, and together make a convincing reason to spend October in New York.
