Cumières is an esteemed Premier Cru village in the eastern Vallée de la Marne that boasts a unique, amphitheater-shaped collection of vineyards, rich in clay over pure limestone bedrock, insulating the vines from dramatic temperature swings and creating unique expressions of each of Champagne’s three main grape varieties. Through this lens, we will explore the ins and outs of Champagne’s terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking with special guests Sacha Geoffroy of Champagne Geoffroy and Benjamin Fourmon of Joseph Perrier.
