Orange County Distillery

Orange County Distillery in the Black Dirt Region of Orange County, NY produces farm-to-glass small-batch spirits. Their core expressions include a silky Small-Batch Vodka, an herb-driven Farmstead Gin and a single-barrel whiskey expression; cocktails like the Courkat and Field 47 are served at the Brown Barn Farms cocktail bar. Founded in 2014 by John Glebocki and Bryan Ensall, the distillery transforms grains grown on its fifth-generation farm into distilled, aged and bottled spirits, delivering bright grain character, subtle orchard fruit notes and warm spice. The experience is tactile and sensory—earth-scented air, polished copper, and cocktails crafted to highlight terroir-driven distillation.

Orange County Distillery sits on a fifth-generation farm in the Black Dirt Region, where flat, mineral-rich soil and a long local growing season shape the raw materials for its spirits. Orange County Distillery began as a 2014 venture by local business owners John Glebocki and Bryan Ensall who converted a 100-year-old barn into a functioning still house; the setting is rural Goshen and the tasting program primarily unfolds at Brown Barn Farms in New Hampton. From the first inhalation of ground grain to the bright citrus and botanical lift in a gin pour, the property reads like an agricultural story translated into spirits, and the distillery’s emphasis on small-batch production places provenance and sensory detail at the forefront of every bottle. Visitors familiar with craft distillers will recognize the focus on local sourcing and the clear lineage from field to glass.
