Fleur de Miraval began as a collaboration among the Pitt, Perrin and Péters families within the historic Pierre Péters estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The house concentrates on rosé Champagne, with numbered Exclusivement Rosé editions and the separate Petite Fleur cuvée.
Two ways to make rosé
The ER wines combine Côte des Blancs Chardonnay reserves with a gently macerated Pinot Noir component from Vertus. The producer also describes reopening older Blanc de Blancs bottles and adding them to the final blend. Petite Fleur is a Chardonnay-led rosé with a small portion of lightly infused red wine and some perpetual reserve. The two wines should not be described as one fixed recipe.
Private visits
The house offers visits to its discreet cellar and tastings exclusively by reservation. Its contact address is 26 rue des Lombards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; confirm the meeting point and format when booking.
