That is not a criticism, Osaka's most satisfying meat restaurants frequently operate exactly in this register, prioritising beef quality and direct flavour over presentation theatre. What can be said is that the Shinmachi address puts the restaurant within the broader Nishiohashi dining corridor, an area with a long-standing concentration of meat-specialist venues that draw a local rather than tourist-driven clientele.
