The South Beach Seafood Festival in Miami is a four-day culinary festival on the sands of South Beach that celebrates South Florida’s seafood bounty. It features multiple chef-driven events – from a VIP Chef Showdown to an all-day beachfront seafood festival with 20+ top local restaurants, cocktails and live music.
Held every October as a kick-off to stone crab season, the South Beach Seafood Festival brings fine dining to the sand. The festivities include pop-ups and dinners leading up to the main event: a huge beachside festival along Ocean Drive on Saturday. Attendees meander between tasting pavilions hosted by Miami’s leading seafood restaurants – each offering famed dishes in tasting portions – with tropical cocktails and live bands setting the mood. The popular Chef Showdown is an Iron Chef–style cook-off where local chefs battle in themed categories, with the crowd and judges deciding winners.
