From the operators of The Meat Co., The Cullinan was among the first openings at Dubai’s well-known Marsa Al Arab, positioning itself as a fine dining steakhouse. It’s evident no effort was spared in the fit-out here, and that more-is-more philosophy extends to the food. While there are some fair dishes, almost everything would benefit from a touch more restraint, and a half-dozen fewer ingredients or techniques. In The Cullinan’s favour, service is earnest, the atmosphere is electric and the views from almost every corner of the dining room and terrace are among the stronger in town.
