Erste Ostfriesische Winzergenossenschaft is a small wine cooperative in Westoverledingen, built around a one-hectare PIWI vineyard and a north-German argument: Ostfriesland can produce still white wine again after roughly 150 years away from professional viticulture. The draw is not scale or gloss, but the collision of wetland country, cooperative labour, Solaris, Souvignier Gris, and a region testing its agricultural limits.
