Fargues De Langon, France
Château Romer
Château Romer is a tiny 1855 Second Cru Classé Sauternes estate in Fargues De Langon, shaped by gravel and clay-gravel soils and a production scale closer to specialist collecting than broad cellar-door tourism. Its draw is terroir-led sweet wine: Sémillon-dominant, botrytis-driven, oak-aged, and made in quantities of roughly 5,000 to 6,000 bottles a year.
