Domaine Alex Foillard belongs to the small-grower side of Beaujolais, where Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly are treated as distinct geological arguments rather than interchangeable Gamay labels. The estate’s appeal is its narrow focus: still red Gamay from granite, schist and sand-influenced sites, made at grower scale with a quiet, rural cellar character rather than visitor-center polish.
