Nigeria luxury dining and travel destination
Lagos holds most of the venues in our Nigeria guide. The wine lists are at NOK by Alara and Z Kitchen on Victoria Island, at W Bar Lounge by the lagoon in Ikoyi, and at Mood Lagos, a rooftop restaurant in Lekki Phase 1. Our guide covers 26 venues in 6 cities. Abuja’s hotels sit in Maitama and the Central Business District, with World Luxury Hotel Awards or World Travel Awards recognition. Transcorp Hilton Abuja in Maitama includes a casino and a nightclub. Wuse adds Johnwood Hotel by Bolton, a Regional Winner for Luxury Business Hotel and a Continent Winner for Luxury Banquet and Event Hotel. Badagry and Abeokuta each add one restaurant: Mie Mie Taste serves Nigerian and intercontinental dishes, including soups and banga stew, and keeps a minimal wine program, and Shawarma Heaven in Ibara serves shawarma. Ikeja covers fast food, traditional Nigerian meals and the New Afrika Shrine, an open-air bar with live performances.

It appears on the Conde Nast Hot List Restaurants for 2026.
