Domaine des Muttes is a small organic wine estate in Aurel, set inside the Clairette de Die AOC and focused on sparkling and still whites from Muscat à petits grains and Clairette. The draw is less luxury-cellar theatre than terroir literacy: vineyard and cellar visits explain why this high-altitude corner of the Drôme produces aromatic, gently sparkling wines with a tradition separate from Champagne.
