Westcliff On Sea, United Kingdom
Padrino Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
On Shorefield Road in Westcliff-on-Sea, Padrino Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria occupies a corner of the Essex coast where Italian-American dining customs have taken quiet root. The format follows a familiar southern European rhythm: pizza and pasta anchoring the menu, the room doing its work through repetition and familiarity rather than spectacle. For Westcliff, it represents a strand of neighbourhood Italian that the town does reasonably well.
