You cannot imagine the one without the other as their sum total consistently elevates the whole experience. This makes for some surprising couplings. Most restaurants would recommend a cool shot of vodka to go with borscht, if they even think of serving a beverage with soup. Anno could teach them a thing or two.
Separately, Anna’s beet goulash, stewed for three days, and Erno’s Cono Suri 20 Barrels Pinot Noir are relatively pedestrian. Together, however, they shine in joyous harmony.
