A Lukang, cittadina storica di Taiwan, Vesuvio Pizzeria rappresenta un presidio autentico di cultura napoletana. Qui la pizza è un gesto identitario prima ancora che gastronomico. L’impasto è soffice, leggero, ben alveolato, con una cottura precisa che restituisce un cornicione fragrante. Molto fedele alla tradizione e capace di dialogare con il contesto locale. Gli ingredienti sono riconoscibili, ben selezionati, usati con misura e rispetto. Interessante la proposta della “Vesuvio”, pizza scenografica che non sacrifica la sostanza all’estetica. Sorprendente quella con Gorgonzola e Coppa (un salume magro tipico italiano). Qui è possibile trovare anche la piazza fritta. Il locale è essenziale e curato. Vesuvio Pizzeria è un progetto giovane ma già consapevole, una pizzeria italiana che non cerca compromessi, ma identità. The proposal of the "Vesuvio" pizza is interesting, a showy pizza that does not sacrifice substance for aesthetics. Surprising is the one with Gorgonzola and Coppa (a typical lean Italian cured meat). Here you can also find fried pizza. The establishment is essential and well-kept.
