Our verdict

The position directly by the sea is in itself an excellent reason to choose this restaurant: the view over the water accompanies virtually every table and becomes even more evocative during outdoor service. But the cuisine merits equal attention. In contrast to the contemporary – almost minimalist – interiors of the dining room, the dishes are distinguished by creativity, colour, and an abundance of predominantly regional ingredients, across both land and sea, with generous use of vegetables. The brigade works with great commitment, allowing itself the occasional French flourish. And while the wine list is well constructed, one enjoyable pairing may well be with the excellent cocktails prepared at the bar. At lunch, the offering is simpler and more informal.
