Silenen, Switzerland
Rebberg Buchholz
Rebberg Buchholz is a tiny Alpine vineyard in Silenen, where Uri wine reads less as a commercial category than as a revived local tradition. Since 1996, Ruth and Joe Kempf-Holdener have tended 0.31 hectares and 1,550 vines, producing a compact range that includes Blauburgunder, Riesling-Silvaner, Muscat Oliver, Gamaret and Zweigelt.
