Jérôme and Agnès Prévost host a La Closerie Champagne dinner in Chicago on October 22, 2026, with eleven wines. Tickets are $1,650 plus tax.

Eleven La Closerie wines, including several releases of Les Béguines and a 2021 magnum, come to Chicago on October 22, 2026, with Jérôme and Agnès Prévost at the table. Their La Fête du Champagne dinner at Le Mistral at S.K.Y. pairs the wines with a tasting menu from chef Stephen Gillanders.
The evening begins at 6:30pm CT at 2300 N Lincoln Park W, with tickets priced at $1,650 plus tax. If you follow the estate, book for the depth of Les Béguines, the magnum format and the chance to taste with the Prévosts themselves. If you are discovering La Closerie, the lineup gives you a focused introduction to Meunier and the wines behind the estate’s reputation.
This offer applies to the Grand Tasting + Gala Dinner package. Other events are ticketed separately, so use this code if you plan to attend both the Grand Tasting and Gala Dinner. Availability and applicable fees are shown at checkout.
La Closerie puts Meunier at the center of the conversation, especially in Les Béguines. Start with the 2014 Les Béguines alongside the more recent releases if you want the clearest view of how the cuvée changes over time.
Meunier is one of Champagne’s three principal grapes, alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A single bottle can offer only one impression of an estate. Here, multiple releases of Les Béguines are joined by Esperluette, Grand Cru wines and a rosé, giving you several sides of the Prévosts’ work over the course of one meal.
La Closerie is based in Gueux, in the western Montagne de Reims. The Prévosts farm organically, and Meunier is central to the estate’s identity. Keep that origin in mind as the tasting moves through the different cuvées.
With the Prévosts present, guests can ask how their vineyard and cellar decisions affect the wines. Questions about harvest conditions, aging and the differences between releases can make the comparison more rewarding than tasting the labels alone.
The program also includes Grand Cru wines made from Pinot Noir from Puisieulx and Chardonnay from Le Mesnil. Taste these beside the Meunier led wines to see how the dinner widens the view beyond the estate’s best known bottlings.
Use the Les Béguines sequence, 2023, 2022, 2020, 2014 and the 2021 magnum, for the evening’s most direct comparison across years and formats. Esperluette, identified by the “&” symbol, appears in 2023 and 2020 releases. Exact wines are subject to change.
The Grand Cru selection spans 2022, 2021 and 2020. Made from Pinot Noir from Puisieulx and Chardonnay from Le Mesnil, they form a three year comparison of their own. They also provide a contrast with the Meunier led wines.
The rosé, d’un Iota 2020, is made with a Meunier Blanc de Noirs base and a small addition of red wine. Blanc de Noirs means white Champagne made from dark skinned grapes. Choose this pour when you want to follow Meunier into a different expression within the same producer’s range.
Les Béguines 2021 will be poured from magnum, a 1.5 liter bottle holding twice the volume of a standard bottle. Ask the Prévosts how they approach aging and releasing larger formats, and how this bottle relates to the other Les Béguines releases at the dinner.
Le Mistral is the wine bar and speakeasy inside S.K.Y. in Lincoln Park. For this La Fête du Champagne event, Chef Stephen Gillanders will prepare a multi course tasting menu of contemporary American cuisine to accompany the wines. The individual dishes have not yet been announced.

Choose this evening if you want one seated dinner devoted to a single producer, with Gillanders’ cooking alongside the wines. Guests can revisit a pour, compare it with another release and consider how it works with food. The Prévosts’ presence adds the opportunity to hear the history and decisions behind each cuvée.
The dinner opens La Fête’s October 22 to 24 Chicago program. It suits collectors who want time in the glass rather than a quick walkaround tasting.
Look for comparisons within each cuvée before moving between them. The two Esperluette releases offer one starting point. Les Béguines gives a longer view, including the 2014 and the more recent wines. The three Grand Cru releases can then be considered together.
Keep notes on what changes in aroma, texture and finish, then use those observations as questions for the Prévosts. Your favorite may be a familiar label or an unexpected discovery. Having several related bottles open makes those preferences easier to trace.
Book the individual La Closerie dinner if the eleven wine producer focus is your priority. La Closerie is rarely easy to explore across so many releases in one sitting, and this event puts Jérôme and Agnès Prévost at the table with Stephen Gillanders preparing dinner.
