Damjanica, Bulgaria
Damianitza
Damianitza is a historic Struma River Valley winery with a production-first character rather than a polished estate-tourism posture. Founded in 1940 and modernized after privatization in the late 1990s, it works at serious scale, with Bulgarian varieties such as Melnik 55, Rubin and Shiroka Melnishka loza sitting alongside Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
