Domaine du Clos des Rocs is a small Pouilly-Loché estate in Loché, working Chardonnay through organic viticulture and a tightly defined Mâconnais terroir. Its 3-hectare monopole, old vines, limestone quarry soils and parcel-by-parcel vinification place the domaine in the serious, site-specific end of southern Burgundy rather than the easy-drinking Mâcon stereotype.
