Bjørnø Vingård belongs to Denmark’s newer island-wine movement: small in scale, rural in mood, and shaped by the cooler maritime conditions around South Funen. The vineyard began with 700 vines planted in 2008, later expanded by 800 vines across six varieties, and now works across red, white and rosé, with Solaris named among its plantings.
