A former 1898 candy factory on La Crosse's State Street, The Charmant Hotel carries its industrial past into 67 rooms fitted with original maple floors, exposed brick, and leather headboards alongside rainfall showers and locally stocked minibars. Michelin awarded it a Key in 2024. The rooftop terrace, with wood-fired pizza and Mississippi River views, is one useful argument for staying in rather than out.
