Usedom, Germany
Weingut Welzin
Weingut Welzin belongs to the new northern edge of German wine: small-scale, low-intervention, and tied closely to Usedom’s climate rather than inherited estate grandeur. Its one-hectare south-facing vineyard produces Kühn&Hell from seven resilient grape varieties, with handwork, spontaneous fermentation, and a visitor experience shaped by quiet vineyard ground rather than formal tasting-room theatre.
